I started blogging about my being a rabbinical student at A Rabbinical Student's Blog on account of my personal blog being more about my life, versus a web log about my being a rabbinical student. Additionally, there are very few blogs in this genre and I thought it would also be of positive value informationally for people, both interested in rabbinical student goings on, as well as what goes on for YCT students. I started the YCT Chevre blog to publicize what goes on at my school, as many people know little about our school and end up speculating about, sometimes in negative ways. It was set up to counter the lack of information out there. It was meant to be a shared work of multiple students, although most posts ended up being composed by me.
