This semester was definitely one of my most enjoyable semesters at YCT. After starting off by going to a ropes course with the other incoming students, we started learning. The main focus of my learning this semester in the mornings was reading and understanding Tosafos. Also in that semester, YCT went on its only spirituality retreat it has ever had.

At the end of the semester, a half-dozen students from my class and the second-year class went down to Biloxi, MS and New Orleans to help out following Hurricane Katrina. We spent several days in Biloxi and then headed over to New Orleans to help out for a few days and spent shabbas there, as well.
